
Bartlemy is located in County Cork. The village is located in the same parish as Rathcormac and Bride Rovers is the local GAA club. In 2008 Bride rovers reached the county hurling final but lost to Sarsfields.

The River Bride runs through both Rathcormac and near Bartlemy. Trout fishing is very popular on the river . The river is a tributary of the River Blackwater and enters the sea in Youghal.

The Bartlemy horse fair and show happens the 3rd Saturday of September. It is held in a 10 acre field in the village where animals can be seen, tested and tried. A Gymkhana, dog show, trade stands and side shows also takes place. Legend has it that Napoleon's horse Marengo was bought at the Bartlemy horse fair.
